Adult Tournament June 15-17 at A-Game

Quick note for all you adult hockey referees.

There will be a tournament at A-Game this June over the 15th, 16th and 17th. There are two age divisions, and 4 skill levels in each division. So it’s looking like a fairly big tournament. I don’t have any additional details yet, but wanted to give everyone a heads-up to keep that weekend available.

March Pay Has Been Processed

Pay from March has been processed at last. We should start to see that show up in our mailboxes early next week.

Our thanks to everyone for your patience with this extended delay. We are constantly looking for ways to speed this process along each month, and may have finally found a solution that will circumvent the delay we experience each month. O’Neil at Nationals

A belated CONGRATULATIONS goes to our very own Mike O’Neil for being selected to officiate Peewee Nationals held in Northern Virginia last week. Mike lined a few games and banded a few as well.

Arbiter is now live!!

I have built links on the home page for accessing the Arbiter Site and the old schedule system will no longer be used. For now, this will only affect the officials who do Adult games in the spring and the summer. Towards the end of the summer we will introduce the system to all officials.

If you are interested in Adult League games and have not as yet set up an account at Arbiter, this will be mandatory for being scheduled in April and May and in the summer as well.

The policy for handling your decision to dump games has been emailed out this evening. See your inbox.

Today TAIHO purchased Arbiter Sports and we will be moving to an online scheduling system next month. This will revolutionize how games are assigned, accepted, and handled throughout the season. I’m sure everyone wants to deal with me less while getting more games to skate. Moving to Arbiter will be good for everyone. I’m excited about getting it set up and running.

Games from last weekend’s Country & Western

March Availability and Tournaments

If you haven’t sent in availability for March, please shoot that to me as soon as you can. We have the Country & Western Tournaments in town March 2-4 and again March 16-18.

Over the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th we have over 80 games at Centennial and A-Game, so there will be plenty of games to go around.

Here’s the breakdown at each rink.

Friday: Centennial – 11 games | A-Game – 12 games

Saturday: Centennial – 17 games | A-Game – 19 games

Sunday: Centennial – 14 games | A-Game – 15 games

As much as you want to skate, you will be able to.

So send in availability as soon as you can. Thanks everyone.

Our good friend and TAIHO Secretary Mike Rogers is currently in the Police Academy. We miss seeing him out on the ice, but for now, we’ll have to settle with seeing him at his new job.

Ok, so let’s play a round of “Where’s Mike Rogers?” Five points if you can find him.
