There a handful of open games on the schedule.
If there’s any way you could help out and cover a few, I would really appreciate.
Thanks guys.

The first week of November’s schedule as been posted.
I am, as always, waiting on leagues to send their schedules in. Despite prodding and urging, I have not been able to get schedules sent to me in a timely manner. I’m doing well if I get it 5 days in advance of the game. I do expect a handful of house and/or travel games this weekend along with the usual adult games.
September checks went out last week. Everyone should have seen those in their mailboxes or bank accounts depending on your preferred delivery method.
If you haven’t received your check by Wednesday, please let me know and I’ll take care of it for you.
Have a great week guys.
First things first.
The schedule for the remainder of the month has been posted. There a couple of odd openings currently but those will be filled by the weekend most likely. There are hopefully going to be more travel and house games this month, but I have not received any upcoming schedules as of yet.
Please check the website often, especially the schedule page.
AGAIN, Please check the website often, especially the schedule page.
So a number of questions have been raised in the last several days.
Last season we all paid 5% of our games worked each month for scheduling fees. This season that will not be the case. I felt that was much too high, and as such I am taking a graduated amount based on the game level.
For each game, I will be taking:
$1.00 from each official for each game that pays $29 or less per official
$1.25 from each official for each game that pays between $30 and $35 per official
$1.50 from each official for each game that pays $36 per official and higher
This works out to somewhere around 2.3-2.7% of the game fee. So as you can see, all referees will see a small raise in their checks this season. TAIHO is charging membership dues of $20 for the season, but this boost in what you will pocket each game is something that I am very excited about.
In regards to the schedule, I am filling the schedule based largely on order the of the availabilities I receive. This is the same anywhere you go, if you want to get a lot of games in the month, submit your availability early. When I was in Dallas, in Washington D. C. and in Arizona working games, it always worked the same. Get availability in early, you get games, get availability in late, not as many, or none at all even. I’ve put up a system on the website to easily copy and paste the days of the month to fill in when you’re available, if you don’t like it, or can’t figure it out, just send me something in an email with what days and what times you can and can not work. I’d like to see it by the 20th, but when I get it on the 5th of the current month, that’s not going to work.
Finally, as many of you know, I really prefer to text message information as much as possible. I have two small boys who wake up super easy and the less I can talk in the evenings the better. If you wouldn’t mind letting me know somehow if you absolutely do not want to text message at all, so I can make sure to avoid that, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please shoot me an email if you have any questions.
See you guys at the rink this weekend.
The schedule for the Big Bear Tournament games this weekend have been posted.
The Advanced Tournament schedule is 90% done and I should have it finished today or tomorrow. As soon as it’s finished, I’ll post that as well.
Thanks guys.
The schedule has been modified and updated.
Please check often as I am using the website to announce many changes to the schedule. I will be following up as needed with emails, but I am using the website’s main page to announce most changes. One of the main reasons for the website redesign was to allow for quick and easy posts to the main page to get information out to you guys quickly.
I like this change a lot because I don’t like blasting people’s inbox unless it’s important, so check the website as often as you can remember to. The website index page and the schedule page look and function really great on the iPhone, so all you awesome iPhone owners and you “other” smartphone users, check the site on your phone often. I’m working on installing as rss feed for those that are interested, that way you can get a notification that the website has been updated.
Thanks guys.
